Squabble amongst yourselves while we take your world from out under your noses and slaughter you one by one.
-- Tronix src

Tronix was a White Martian and a member of the alien super-team known as the Hyperclan. Tronix and her seven colleagues came to Earth several years ago, claiming to be the last survivors of a world that had been destroyed by geological upheaval an environmental irresponsibility. Vowing to never allow such catastrophe to even occur again, the Hyperclan allegedly journeyed through space seeking out planets in need of saving. In truth though, this was just a front to turn public opinion against Earth's more prominent super-heroes, specifically, the Justice League of America.

Tronix participated in an ambitious effort to terra-form the barren Sahara Desert, turning into a lush, fertile paradise. She also took part in the execution of a villain known as Judgment.[1]

In short order however, the JLA came to realize that the Hyperclan were not benevolent creatures, but the first wave of a full-scale alien armada intent on conquering the planet. More than the others, Tronix was exhilarated by the trill of battle, and demonstrated an eager bloodlust and hunger for war.

Tronix fought against Wonder Woman outside of a Hyperclan transmitting station in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. A sound strategist, Tronix made sure to keep out of arm's reach of the Amazon, keeping her at bay with repeated blasts of Martian Vision. Impressed with her own savagery, Tronix commented that taking down Wonder Woman was easier than "...killing that Daxamite priest out by the Krypton gulf".[2]

Later, at the Hyperclan headquarters at Z'onn Z'orr, Tronix learned that the Justice League member Batman had eluded capture and was loose in the citadel. Tronix was eager to see just how battle-savvy this "simple human" truly was and led a search party into the lower chambers to find him.

By this point, Batman had learned of the Hyperclan's Martian origins and knew that they could be defeated with fire. Batman baited them into close quarters soaked with gasoline and set it afire. The flash wave of heat quickly weakened Tronix and she was rendered unconscious.[3]

When the rest of the Hyperclan were defeated, the Martian Manhunter used his powers to wipe their minds and memories, forcing them to assume human forms. Providing them with new identities, he then sent them out to live as productive members of the human race.[4]
