Synopsis for "X-Cutioner's Song part 5: Familiar Refrain"

In California, a weakened Apocalypse claws his way into an oceanside safehouse to find the X-Men’s Gold Team and Quicksilver waiting for him with the defeated Horsemen. At Xavier’s School, X-Force is being held captive in the Danger Room.  Strong Guy catches Jubilee jeering at them and throws her out while Havok and Polaris somberly discuss the team’s detainment.  In the infirmary, Psylocke considers putting Professor X out of his misery until Val Cooper summons everyone for a briefing.  In California, Apocalypse fends off Iceman and defeats Beast and Storm.  Elsewhere, Stryfe tortures Jean by having hundreds of robotic arms grope and shove her, comparing the experience to that of a baby in the hands of strangers. Back at the mansion, Cooper reveals to X-Factor and the Blue Team that Mr. Sinister identified Stryfe as the culprit behind Scott and Jean’s kidnapping and the assault on Xavier.  Bishop and Wolverine are notably missing from the briefing as they are in Canada raiding a Department K base for intelligence.  In California, Apocalypse knocks out Quicksilver and overpowers Colossus and Archangel by blasting them with energy stored in the safehouse.  Rejuvenated, he teleports away.  At the mansion, Havok and Gambit offer to let Cannonball help X-Factor and the X-Men take down Stryfe’s Mutant Liberation Front in exchange for what he knows about the group.  Cable teleports to Department K to get intelligence on Stryfe and the MLF, but he quickly runs into Bishop and Wolverine.
