Synopsis for "The House of the Executioner"
A woman plans to move out of her haunted house when she is interrupted by a man claiming to be a reporter. She explains to him that she is the last in a line descended from state executioners and that the house is filled with momentos of the trade, along with ghosts of the killers and nightly screams of their victims. The only failure in the family was Jonah who had trained in the use of the electric chair, but before he could put it to use, the state outlawed capital punishment. He had a fatal heart attack in frustration. The reporter reveals himself to be an imposter seeking vengeance for the execution of his brother. He tears out the phone wire, lest the woman attempt to phone for help, but is killed by the current. Now new nightly cries scream out with the others as Jonah finally has a victim for his vacant electric chair.
