Overview
Vanessa Harper was a detective in the Gotham City Police Department, working with Captain Bullock and Detective Gordon.
History
Vanessa Harper was a transfer to the Gotham City Police Department and started working closely with Captain Bullock and Detective Gordon on the cases involving Ra's al Ghul and Professor Pyg. She and Gordon had tracked Pyg to an abandoned paper mill but Pyg ambushed her and grabbed her. However, it was later revealed that she was able to escape capture, and she saved Captain Gordon from being roasted alive in an oven by Professor Pyg and freed him from being bound and gagged. She and Gordon then exposed Pyg and defeated him.
