Synopsis for "The Politics of Greed"
Warstrike pulls the lance out of his gut and tackles the horseman. Convinced the horseman is Snowden, Warstrike beats him up but stops short of killing him. The horseman identifies himself as Quixote, apologizes for ambushing Warstrike, and asks why he is after Snowden. When Warstrike says Snowden is a murderer, Quixote denies it and offers to take him to Snowden. Meanwhile, Giz waits by the helicopter, wonders how Warstrike can kill people, and muses on the nature of heroism. Quixote brings Warstrike to the indigenous village where he says Snowden lives. Warstrike enters Snowden’s hut and discovers the man is long dead, finding only his skeleton. Warstrike touches the skull and has a vision of Senator Kline killing his daughter Mitsy. Furious, Warstrike kicks Snowden’s skull outside, steals Quixote’s robotic horse, and races back to the helicopter. As they take off, he tells Giz what he saw and resolves to take Kline down. That night, Kline is working at home when the power goes out. Warstrike appears out of the darkness, throws Kline through a window, and demands to know why he killed Mitsy and framed Snowden for it. Warstrike holds Kline at gunpoint and is ready to kill him, but Kline says he is too important to kill and points out Warstrike has no proof of what he did. Warstrike admits Kline is right and walks away but warns he will avenge Mitsy someday. Elsewhere in Los Angeles, Blind Faith stands on a rooftop and prepares to move against Warstrike.
