Synopsis for "Hangman's Horror"
Three men in positions of political power are chagrined when challenged so they decide to silence the upstart by framing him for the murder of one of their own followers. They select the unlucky stooge and stab him in the back with a knife that they have acquired from the man they wish to frame. The judge is crooked and so their kangaroo court hangs their intended victim. A mysterious fog rolls in along with a beam of light which illuminates the now empty scaffold. The people are puzzled that the hanged man's body has disappeared which turns to terror as his ghost manifests. The agitated mob beats to death one of the conspirators, the second is run down by horses, and the third burns to death in his house. Afterward, the fog lifts and the beam of light disappears to reveal the hanged man's body still attached to the rope.
