Wellington is an orphan who lives in a disused railway station in Croynge with his dog, Boot (they used to live in a pipe, but traded up) and, sometimes, a cat, a goldfish and a water snail. He is a natural born philosopher who worries about the state of the world and makes his meagre living selling home made buggies to Marlon. His birthday is October 25th, the anniversary of the battle of Agincourt.
Wellington is the only one of The Perishers who has noticed that he and his friends never get any older and that their lives appear to be cyclical, though he doesn't like to draw attention to this fact.
How Wellington gets away with living alone and unsupervised is a mystery, though he does go to school and there are occasionally mentions of a "social lady" who comes to see him every so often.
