• Although Grottu appears to die in this issue, he actually survives and appears next in Marvel Monsters: Monsters on the Prowl.

• The future era of 2020 from "I Fought the Colossus!" is a different future reality from that of Iron Man 2020 or the Machine Man limited series.
  

Trivia

• While most of Marvel's horror anthology stories are commonly regarded as non-canon, Grottu, King of the Insects has made several appearances in Earth-616 continuity as a foil for Ulysses Bloodstone and the Fantastic Four.
