Synopsis for "Turnaround"
Agent Wax visits Agent Mohr’s grave then goes to a bar and recalls resigning from the National Park Service. When the bartender demands he pay his tab, Wax uses his mind control powers to force the bartender to give him free drinks. In New York, Grifter braces a street hoodlum for the location of a Coda hideout. At Halo in L.A., Marlowe shrugs off Pacheco’s shot, and Pacheco says he did it just to prove Marlowe is not human. Pacheco tries to recruit Marlowe for his special LAPD unit, but they are interrupted by an alarm. They go to investigate and learn an equipment overload has derailed the Otherspace experiment. Despite the physical risk, Marlowe enters the experimental chamber, manually shuts down the equipment, and rescues a wounded Void. In a Bronx sewer tunnel, Grifter finds several dead Coda and is suddenly attacked by Zealot. She alternates between kissing him and striking him before pinning him to the wall with arrows from a crossbow. She is on a crusade to wipe out the Coda on Earth and warns him to stay away from her. She then kisses him goodbye and leaves. At Halo, Noir observes an unconscious Void in a containment vessel, congratulates himself for gaining access to the company’s technology, and gloats that no one knows he caused the equipment overload through sabotage.
