Synopsis for the 1st Story
Lord S’ylton, Ferrian, Brawl, Styrian, and Vigor battle Tapestry’s Hounds until Jodele shoots Tapestry with an arrow enchanted by Azrum. Wounded, Tapestry teleports away. S’ylton orders the palace sealed, but Ferrian claims he is a prophet and forces his way inside. He tries to convince S’ylton that this world is a magical creation, but S’ylton angrily dismisses him. When Ferrian has Azrum magically read his mind, Azrum’s memory is restored, and he verifies Ferrian’s claims. Meanwhile, to control Zealot, Tapestry rewrites her memories of the past: a street urchin, she was taken in by Tapestry, trained as a warrior, and sent to kill Emp, the WildC.A.T.s, and Wildcore. Azrum and S’ylton hire Brawl, Styrian, and Vigor to take them to the Fae Woodlands. From there, they will launch an attack on Tapestry’s stronghold. In the Fae Woodlands, the chameleon-like Geist advises his lover, the Fae queen Taboo, to join the war against Tapestry, but she refuses. Aboard Vigor’s ship, Styrian uses his wind powers to hasten their voyage while Brawl and S’ylton discover Jodele has stowed away. Soon, they reach the shore of the Fae country and are immediately confronted by Geist and Taboo.
