Synopsis for "The Capture of Superman"

An alien named Klor comes to the planet Earth and shows Batman and Robin evidence showing Superman attacking his world and tells the Dynamic Duo that he is a wanted criminal. Shocked at this revelation, Batman and Robin agree to do their duty and capture Superman -- even if he is their best friend.

The Dynamic Duo at first attempt to capture Superman with tricks that involve Kryptonite: Pretending to be terrorized by a robot; Tricking him in approaching a statue loaded with Kryptonite; Batman even disguises himself as a photographer and attempts to expose the Man of Steel to Kryptonite hidden in a camera. Superman sees through all these ploys and evades capture. When Superman demands answers, Batman will not confide in him. The Dynamic Duo finally outsmart Superman when they hide out in a statue erected in honor of the hero Green Arrow and fire arrows at passing ships. When Superman arrives to investigate, he fails to notice that the statue has been painted in Kryptonite paint until it's too late.

When in custody, Batman and Robin tell him why they are bringing him to Klor's world. Superman recalls flying past the planet but had a memory blank and doesn't recall what happened in the time gap and thus cannot refute Klor's claims. When Superman is brought to trail, the evidence is viewed again and Superman is found guilty. This all turns out to be a ploy by Klor, who used an amnesia ray to block out Superman's memory, and then posed as the Man of Steel to terrorize his home world. With his mission to frame Superman a success he returns to Earth and disguises himself as Superman. He then convinces a jeweler to turn over some gems to him for "safe keeping", but as Klor returns to his ship he is attacked by Superman.

Upon his defeat, Klor is told that Batman found a number of logical errors in the evidence provided that cleared Superman's name and revealed Klor as the true criminal. With the true crook defeated, they return Klor to his home world to face punishment.

A gang of criminals has started using booby-traps as a motif to their crimes, allowing them to spring traps on any opposition trying to stop them from preforming their heists. When Green Arrow and Speedy become involved, the crooks are unable to stop the heroes from foiling their plots. When they come up with the idea of blowing up the Arrow Car, they believe they succeed, however Green Arrow had thought a step ahead and sent a decoy instead of himself, and later rounds up the crooks.
