Synopsis for "Traitors to the Cause"
In Madripoor, Gideon finds Crule in a Lowtown bar and, after a brief brawl, hires him to kill Cable. At X-Force headquarters, the team has learned Vanessa infiltrated the team for Tolliver. Unaware that she is not the real Domino, Cable questions her about why. Feral and Shatterstar want to kill her, but Cable has another idea. In an aircraft over the Australian Outback, G.W. Bridge convinces Grizzly to join him in Weapon PRIME and help take down Cable. Meanwhile, Cable has Vanessa contact Tolliver to tell him she is going to blow up X-Force’s base and kill them. Later, as Weapon PRIME’s jet flies over Manhattan, Rictor reveals to Weapon X that he saw Cable kill his father ten years ago. In Denver, Gideon returns home with Crule. When Sunspot asks about Crule, an enraged Gideon beats him unconscious. Hours later, Weapon PRIME approaches X-Force’s base as, inside, Cable tells the team their location has been compromised and they need to move again. To get even, he says, they are going to confront Tolliver.
