Synopsis for "Everything Hits the Fan"
Weapon PRIME breaches X-Force’s base just as Cable has the team pack their jet and prepare to leave. Ambushed, Cable leaves Cannonball in command and takes off. Weapon X punches Shatterstar, and Siryn engages Tigerstryke while Warpath faces Grizzly, and Feral attacks Yeti. Rictor reluctantly blasts Boom-Boom, but Cannonball knocks him down. Elsewhere, Cable activates his AI, Professor, and has it teleport away all of his equipment and set the base to self-destruct. As X-Force gains the upper hand, Cable returns rearmed and shoots Bridge. At an Ophrah Industries research facility in New Mexico, Gideon has Sunspot tortured as an unwilling participant in an experiment. Back in the Adirondacks, Weapon X defeats Shatterstar, but Warpath knocks out Grizzly, Feral gores Yeti, and Siryn takes down Tigerstryke. With X-Force victorious, Cable declares it is time to leave and find Tolliver. Suddenly, the base’s self-destruct sequence begins early, and Cable is cut off from the team with Vanessa. As the structure collapses around them, Cannonball tells X-Force and Weapon PRIME to gather within his blast shield. Then, the base explodes. In Sicily, Tolliver watches news coverage of the explosion and toasts the death of Cable to a captive Domino.
