Synopsis for "Teapot in a Tempest"
In Murderworld, Siryn and Warpath watch as Cannonball links a Cerebro unit with Cable’s time machine to find Sunspot, and they are shocked to learn he is on Earth. In Greenwich Village, Boomer watches a teenage prostitute run away from a social worker and decides to help the girl herself. At a nearby nightclub, Rictor tries to get Shatterstar to have some fun. A woman invites him to dance, but her sexual advances scare him off, and he runs out of the club. Cannonball calls Cable and asks him to send Domino with the PACRAT jet, but Cable refuses as he and the X-Men are trying to stop the end of the world. Suddenly, the console in front of Cannonball explodes, and Locus emerges from a teleportation portal. When Sam asks where she and Sunspot have been, she reveals he abandoned her and hints they were in outer space. Upon learning X-Force has located him, Locus says they have to stop him and teleports away with them. Back in Greenwich Village, Boomer finds the prostitute in an alley and talks with the girl, but Locus and X-Force suddenly arrive to teleport her away. A few blocks away, Shatterstar explains to Rictor his lack of sexual and emotional experience. Just then, Warpath emerges from a portal and tosses the two their gear. At the Mutant Liberation Front’s island base, Dani Moonstar flees as Reignfire strikes down Wildside and Forearm and then seemingly kills her winged horse Darkwind. Locus arrives with X-Force, and Cannonball demands to know where Sunspot is. Tauntingly, Reignfire unmasks himself, revealing he is Sunspot. Just as he prepares to blast X-Force, he, they, and everything around them turns to crystal then shatters.
