Synopsis for "Under One Roof"

Late one night at the Xavier Institute, Boomer brings a bowl of milk to Sabretooth in the Danger Room only to find the control booth trashed and Caliban inside beating Sabretooth to a pulp. Horrified, Boomer fails to blast through the booth’s viewing window to stop him, but Cable arrives and suggests she could if she tried hard enough. Cable fixes the booth’s systems enough to distract Caliban with a simulation of the Morlock tunnels and then talks Caliban down by pointing out Sabretooth is helpless in his current condition. Caliban agrees to postpone his revenge, and Cable orders Boomer to stop bringing milk to Sabretooth. The next day, Cable and Professor X watch Sunspot use his powers to fly while Warpath practices with a bo staff against Caliban. Xavier cautions Cable about telepathically entering others’ minds without their consent. Later, Cable agrees to let Beast keep Shatterstar in the infirmary for some tests and excuses Boomer from a new mission so she can spend time with Cannonball. After Cable, Caliban, Sunspot, and Warpath depart in the PACRAT, she finds Cannonball, but he is leaving for a mission with the X-Men. Hours later, the PACRAT flies over Siberia, and Cable explains X-Force is there to investigate a tracking station that has gone offline. Upon arriving, they discover a massive blast crater, and Caliban senses a mutant-like presence. Just as Cable finds a survivor in the station’s wreckage, the Mimic appears and demands to be left alone.
