Synopsis for "Breakout"
At the Weisman Institute in Vermont, Siryn wakes up to a masked figure approaching her with a scalpel. She kicks him in the gut only for him to reveal himself as Deadpool come to rescue her. He cuts off the inhibitor collar suppressing her powers, and they exit her cell unaware adolescent inmate Jeremy Stevens is watching them. Meanwhile, Cable, Caliban, Sunspot, and Warpath have combined their powers to fly the wrecked PACRAT back to the Xavier Institute. Sunspot generates a whirlwind that lowers the jet safely to the ground, and Cable orders them all to the infirmary. In Vermont, Deadpool and Siryn fight past several orderlies to confront Dr. Weisman. Siryn demands to know why Weisman is abusing her patients, and Weisman starts to break down with guilt, but then Jeremy Stevens enters, overpowers Deadpool, and tells Weisman she has been a naughty girl. In the Xavier Institute infirmary, Caliban, Sunspot, and Warpath wake up Shatterstar, and he complains about Beast’s tests. Upstairs, Boomer phones her father but hangs up when he answers. Later, Siryn returns to the Xavier Institute, rebuffs Warpath’s affection, tells Cable and Professor X that everything is fine with Dr. Weisman, and hands over data on her patients. Outside, Sunspot broods about disobeying orders in Russia until Cable finds him and tells him not to worry so much. To Cable’s shock, Sunspot thanks him in the Askani language. That night, Boomer brings Sabretooth another bowl of milk in the Danger Room, and he surprises her by talking. He convinces her to make the Danger Room simulate the Xavier Institute’s grounds but then has her change it back after seeing Wolverine in the trees. Back at the Weisman Institute, Dr. Weisman has Deadpool restrained and notes he is genuinely insane. Controlled by Gamesmaster, Jeremy Stevens approves.
