Synopsis for "Atlantis Attacks part 3: Double Cross"

Wolverine wakes up to the Serpent Society mercenary Diamondback, in Dazzler’s body, in his bedroom. She tries to seduce him until the other X-Men, including Dazzler in Diamondback’s body, intervene.  Storm and Rogue review how the two women switched bodies:  the Deviant priest Ghaur and the Lemurian priestess Llyra hired the Serpent Society to retrieve several mystic artifacts, including one from sorcerer Mr. Jip.  Jip captured Diamondback when she broke into his lair.  He then abducted Dazzler, swapped their bodies to force the X-Men to collect the artifacts for him, and sent them to the team’s Australian base.  Dazzler and Diamondback argue with each other until Storm declares the X-Men are going after Jip.  However, when Gateway teleports them, they are split up and sent to different places.  Dazzler and Wolverine materialize in the Savage Land.  Agitated with Logan over the bedroom incident, she sets off alone, spots a Serpent Society aircraft, and follows it to its landing only to be immediately captured.  Hours later, Wolverine frees her, and they defeat Asp, Boomslang, and Puff Adder. As soon as Dazzler touches the idol the Society had stolen, she and Logan teleport away.  Colossus, Havok, and Rogue find themselves in Lima, Ohio and follow a path of destruction to a local shopping mall.  Inside, they fight and overpower Anaconda, Black Mamba, and Coachwhip.  They then take a Native American totem from Rock Python and vanish.  In Iceland, Diamondback, Longshot, Psylocke, and Storm face off against Black Racer, Bushmaster, Cottonmouth, and Rattler.  While the others battle, Longshot finds the stone both teams are looking for, but Rattler buries him under a landslide.  Psylocke finds the stone, and she, Diamondback, and Storm are teleported to Jip’s lair with the other X-Men.  Having acquired the artifacts, Jip restores Dazzler and Diamondback to their proper bodies and, once Wolverine threatens him, teleports Longshot to the lair.  Suddenly, deposed Serpent Society leader Sidewinder appears, steals the artifacts, reveals Diamondback actually works for him, and teleports away.  Irritated, Jip teleports the X-Men home while Sidewinder and Diamondback sell the artifacts to Ghaur and Llyra.  Llyra then has her Lemurian alchemists use the objects to begin recreating the Serpent Crown.

Synopsis for "Jubilation Day!"

Seconds after the ladies of the X-Men return home through Gateway’s portal, Jubilee emerges as well.  Gateway welcomes her, but she freaks out and hides.  As the night grows cold, he finds her and leads her to a cave.  She crawls inside and finds the Reavers’ treasure horde. In the days that follow, she steals food, clothes, and small items from the X-Men.  One day, she watches them play baseball and debates whether to introduce herself.  She returns to her underground hideout, thinks about her late parents, and tries on pieces of the X-Men’s costumes she has stolen.  Later, after bathing in the underground lake, she is attacked by one of the Reavers’ cyborg guard dogs.  It chases her until she summons her courage and incinerates it with her powers.  Her confidence bolstered, Jubilee is proud of herself and optimistic about the future.

Synopsis for "Saga of the Serpent Crown part 3: Serpent in the Garden"

Uatu the Watcher recounts humanity’s first encounter with the Celestials.  Eons ago, the leader of a tribe of proto-humans called the Wanderers and his mate returned to a lush garden created for their ancestors centuries earlier.  They found it inhabited by another tribe who called themselves the Tribe of Set.  The Tribe’s leader said the two Wanderers could join them in exchange for hunting the other Wanderers as food for Set.  The Wanderers refused and attacked, revealing the Tribe of Set to be the shape-changing Serpent-Men and driving them from the garden.  Then, the goddess Gaea appeared as a massive starship descended on the planet—the First Host of the Celestials.  The Celestials drove the Serpent-Men away and modified some Wanderers to create two new subspecies:  the immortal Eternals and the mutating Deviants.  The other Wanderers eventually evolved into humans and warred with the Serpent-Men until King Kull of Atlantis slew most of those remaining.
