Synopsis for "Legion Quest part 4: Dreams Die!"

Their memories restored by their encounter with Cable, Storm, Bishop, Iceman, and Psylocke watch Magnus battle Legion in the skies over Haifa, altering history in the process. A few blocks away, Gabrielle Haller wakes up a battered Charles Xavier, and he tells her they are watching the dawn of mutantkind. As the other X-Men try to contain the damage, Psylocke telepathically contacts Xavier. He uses his powers to make Gabrielle sleep, runs to the X-Men’s location, recognizes Storm, and realizes they are from the future. In the present, Lilandra warns Professor X that a crystallization wave generated by the M’Kraan Crystal is consuming the universe. Rogue pulls Gambit close while Archangel broods over the world ending just weeks after he and Psylocke began their romance. He joins Cyclops and Phoenix as they watch the crystallization wave approach Earth on a Shi’ar monitor. In the past, Apocalypse sees news coverage of the conflict in Haifa and declares the time of mutantkind’s ascension has begun. Legion rants at Magnus that killing him will ensure Xavier’s dream of harmony between humans and mutants. Storm grabs Magnus while Iceman freezes Legion solid. After a few moments, however, Legion restores himself and knocks them all out. He argues with Magnus and is about to kill him with a psychic knife when Xavier jumps between them, and Legion accidentally kills Xavier instead. This creates a time paradox which causes Legion, Storm, Iceman, and Psylocke to vanish, leaving only Bishop. In the present, the crystallization wave consumes Magneto and the Acolytes aboard Avalon. Soon, the wave reaches Israel, and Rogue kisses Gambit just before they, the X-Men, and their allies across the globe all turn to crystal.
